My love for medicine started very young when I involved myself with many outdoors and leadership-oriented groups, where learning about first aid and other fields eventually led to my medical school training at UDEM (University of Monterrey) in Mexico. Over the past 6 years, I was able to partake in the many areas of Clinical Research, as assistant, coordinator, manager and now a Senior Strategic Site Director and Principal Investigator for our new International Projects.
I am a very active person who enjoys the great Chicago weather (for the half part of the year where snow and chilly winds are not breaking our bones) to practice Soccer, biking, and jiu-jitsu.
Having the opportunity to include the Latin American population to all our clinical trials has been something I have envisioned since I started my path in Research. This will not only bring more diversity to all the projects we work with but will also give me the chance to work with the great health professionals in my home country and use my expertise to give back to the medical community.
