Dr. Broome specializes in less invasive hip and knee replacement surgery. He performs nearly 400 total joint replacement procedures each year – including direct anterior hip replacement procedures and minimally invasive, tissue-sparing procedures.

Education and Training
Dr. Broome is a native Texan that completed both his undergraduate and medical training at Texas Tech University. He completed his orthopedic residency in Louisville, KY and his total joint replacement fellowship at Steadman-Hawkins Institute. Dr. Broome is also currently involved in research on alternative bearing surfaces in total joint replacements.

- Assisted in the development of a new bone graft substitute at the University of Louisville
- Presents on his work on joint replacements and pain control in the US and overseas
- Assists with research at the department of engineering at the University of Texas El Paso
- Remains involved in research regarding surgical approaches, implants, and medications to lead to a quicker recovery
