Sherry Lee

Sherry Lee is the Senior Director of Human Resources at NextStage Clinical Research. Bringing over two decades of experience to the organization, Sherry is charged with all aspects of people operations at NCR. Sherry is the resident culture steward shaping the organization’s culture through the development and implementation of practical, scalable solutions to attract, engage, retain, develop, and grow top talent. Sherry aligns people strategies in support of business goals cultivating an environment of productivity and trust.

Sherry’s career has afforded her experience across multiple industries. Prior to joining NCR, Sherry led Human Resources efforts in the large non-profit space transforming HR at the YMCA of NWNC from a primarily administrative function to a strategic business partner within the organization. Sherry’s passion for talent management prompted her to establish learning and development programs supporting employee growth and success. Most recently, Sherry was tasked with establishing the human resources department at Javara. Sherry’s ability to weave practical human capital initiatives into an organization’s growth plan paves the way for successful talent development, increased efficiency, and change management all while prioritizing diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Sherry is based in Winston-Salem, NC. She serves on the board of Leadership Winston-Salem and Animal Adoption and Rescue Foundation (AARF) and is a past board member of the Winston-Salem Society for Human Resources Management. Sherry received her bachelor’s degree from Wake Forest University and master’s from University of Georgia. When not working, she and her husband Mitch enjoy cycling, hiking, and water sports, and spending time with their two rescue dogs.
